Reich has "gained speed" as a contender for the Panthers' vacant position, according to Breer.

which has given him greater momentum as a contender, according to Breer. "Reich was a 1995 Panthers player."

For five seasons, Reich led the Colts as head coach, with a 40-33-1 record and two postseason trips.

Reich isn't the only applicant for the position, of course.

Steve Wilks, the interim coach, may be offered the permanent position.

They would have to forgo draught selections in order to hire him, though.
