NFL Insider Names Dark Horse For Denver Broncos Coach

For the second consecutive offseason, the Denver Broncos are in the choice of a new head coach.

Nathaniel Hackett, a former offensive coordinator for the Green Bay Packers, was hired by Denver in the summer.

The strategy didn't work since Hackett was let go before his debut season was through.

Sean Payton and Jim Harbaugh were the early front-runners, but they have since slipped.

David Shaw, a former Stanford coach, has been touted as a new "dark horse" contender for the position by Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer.
